Nimbus Appoints New Director of Partnerships & Development

We are excited to announce that Mark Briggs will soon be joining Nimbus leading on the next phase in the evolution of the Access Card and other exciting programmes. Mark will take up the role of Director of Partnerships and Development later in June.

The phenomenal success of Nimbus and the incredible expansion of the Access Card has taken us from strength to strength. The team has worked exceptionally hard to get us to this point, with our reach and impact growing exponentially. We have an ever-growing customer base of cardholders and new clients coming on board, including Merlin Entertainment, Ambassador Theatre Group and many more.

We have also gotten well underway with international development and not only have cardholders and venues that recognise the card across the globe, but we have also established our first solid non-domestic base of operations in New Zealand.

Earlier this year we were also the very proud recipients of the prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the Innovation Category. This reiterates a place in the sector, and our direction and celebrates our outstanding team.

Mark is a long time ambassador of the organisation, working in support of our aims and ambitions. In addition to his new role, he will remain on the Board of Directors for Portland College, one of the country's leading specialist colleges, where our work supporting Disabled people continues and overlaps. His appointment to the new role of Director of Partnerships and Development signals the next phase in the evolution of NImbus.

“I'm really humbled to be joining Nimbus and working with so many exceptional partners in the expansion of the business. We are at the true nexus point of bringing our social responsibilities together with new ways of thinking which makes a true difference. We have the ability to influence a future that provides a lifetime of opportunity for Disable people and I’m looking forward to being a part of that”

Mark will lead on the partnership development and rollout of a revolutionary new range of solutions which will stop the abuse of Disabled parking bays and EV charging points, ParkAbility. Nimbus and our partners will be at the forefront in providing an answer to the long-standing issue for Disabled people; the lack of protection these spaces are given.
