Paultons Park Enhances Its Core Values with Access Card and NOS

Family-owned Paultons Park in the beautiful Hampshire countryside is the UK’s best-rated theme park on Google with a wide range of value-for-money children’s, family and thrill rides and attractions from Peppa Pig World to the fast-paced Tornado Springs.

The park adopted the Access Card in August 2022 to further enhance its commitment to accessibility.

Guests can apply online for the free Paultons Access Registration Number or the wider Access Card with access to thousands of other venues and attractions – powered by the Nimbus Operating System (NOS).

Either way, the process is managed by Nimbus who provide the appropriate symbols that disabled guests can use to manage their own access to the park and to apply for a free Paulton’s Park Essential Companion ticket – enabling carers to also enjoy all the rides and attractions that the park has to offer.

Lawrence Mancey is the General Manager of Systems and Communications at Paulton’s Park.

He said:

One of our key core values is to ensure that the park is accessible to everyone – regardless of age and disabilities.

Working with Nimbus Disability, we have been able to streamline the process for applying for the Access Card and Essential Companion tickets and this has ensured that we have far more consistent messaging on accessibility for both guests and our staff.

Nimbus handle the conversations about guests’ accessibility requirements which is so much better as they are the experts in this field and enables us to focus on providing the quality experience for our guests.

Enabling the guests to self-serve has reduced a lot of admin for our staff and provided far greater consistency. Nimbus have given us loads of great ideas. They respond quickly and the system was so fast and efficient to set up.

We have been really pleased with how this has worked out. The technology is fantastic and we have had great feedback from guests and staff alike.
